The Jam Factory

(Jam Factory ceiling. Beautiful!)

Tonight, Chelsea, Dylan (a guy on the men’s team), and I went to see the movie Ted at the Jam Factory. It was the second time that I’ve seen the movie, and it was still really funny!

The Jam Factory movie theater was an awesome location. It is named for the buildings original purpose- a jam making factory. Now, there are several restaurants outside of the lobby, and two sections of theaters upstairs on separate sides of the building. The ceiling in the lobby was gorgeous. The theater area looked a lot like movie theaters at home. And, the theater itself had very plush seats, but they did not recline, like seats in American theaters. Dylan was very surprised to hear that ours recline!

I can’t wait to take both Ben and my family to the Jam Factory when they come to visit!

Alicia’s Aussie Word of the Day: choc top. Meaning Drumstick, the packaged ice cream cones with chocolate coating on top. Usage: the movie theater sold choc tops and I was tempted to try one.
